Dato Alimin Wahab, BA, MA, PGCE, retired from His Majesty’s Government’s service in February 2002, at the end of nearly 30-year career which began as a Secondary School teacher, principal and Superintendent Secondary Education, and ended as a Permanent Secretary before his 40th birthday. He served as the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Defence and at the Prime Minister Office for more than half of his service career. He accepted to be the Chairman, RBA for over 3 years from September 1998 until his appointment as the first CEO of PETROLEUM Brunei in early November 2001. Since April 2006, he actively serves as the Senior Trustee at Pusat Ehsan, a private charity for children with mixed disabilities while at the same time, retaining a limited public exposure and promoting a selected business ventures in Brunei.
